Moon Dancer

July 2020
The wild Mustang has been culled to the point that only a handful roam the ranges of the Saskatchewan prairie in the Bronson Forest Herd . Other herds across North America are facing similar fates and need to be protected from the ruthless threat of humans who do not appreciate their incredible wild beauty. Narrated from the point of view of an indigenous man, Moon Dancer is filled with artful metaphors that frame the refusal of nature to be harnessed by the pressures of human progress. "She leads the herd that tramples down the white man's grain." ~ Lloyd Tosoff, Songwriter
